Tom Whitley

Tom Whitley is the editor of The Practical Daily. He writes about home, garden and pet care, and every article is built from named sources (university extension services, veterinary schools) linked in the text.

How his articles are made

Tom Whitley is a pen name, used by the editor who runs the site. Each article lists its sources at the bottom of the page, and every figure links to the source it comes from, so you can check it yourself. Before publication, each figure is checked against those sources. Our editorial policy explains the whole process, including how we choose and label images.

What he does not cover

Medical and veterinary diagnosis or treatment, and financial or legal advice. When a question touches your health, your money or your pet's health, the right answer comes from a professional who knows your situation.
